Reasons: raw materials are not clean enough with impurities; feeding speed is too fast to make screw extrusion unstable; plasticizing temperature is not enough to make screw extrusion problem.
Treatment method: clean the raw materials before feeding or replace the filter screen; reduce the feeding amount to make the plasticizing stable screw extrude smoothly; improve the plasticizing temperature (the temperature should not be too high, so as to prevent the burn of plastic and affect the production quality).
The main motor rotates, but the screw does not
Cause: the transmission V belt is loose, worn and slipping; the safety key is loose, falling off or disconnected.
Treatment: adjust the center distance of V-belt, tighten the belt, or replace the new V-belt; check the safety key, analyze the cause of fracture, and replace the safety key.
After the plastic pelletizing unit is used or stopped, we should make sure that the electrical control cabinet is powered off. If the shutdown time is too long, it is necessary to wipe and clean the whole body of the plastic granulation unit, and the smooth surface of the parts shall be coated with antirust oil and covered with a cloth.
